Some BUNNY loves YOU!!!!

Some BUNNY loves YOU!!!

I used a Mega Label 4 to cut the card out…
And then I used a printed paper to accent the card…
I cut the egg out with a Spellbinder.. and added the little ones… like the eggs and the little chick that just hatched… I added a heart Charm by Just Rite… and love these… how cute an addition to ANY card… I have even put them on the inside of some cards… a really nice embellishment…

Easter is on the way… get those spring stamps out… along with the bunnies and chicks… and get some made up… love the colors that we can use on these too… so bright and cheery…

Have a fun day… Love, Light and Peace....Bonnie

Rebirth of Spring

Rebirth of Spring… How very true… we think that winter brings the halt of everything living… it doesn’t … nature just recycles everything …. And again it is back in full swing…  so here is a sweet reminder of that action.. .

The REBIRTH OF SPRING…. A Just Rite stamp… and the design around the saying … also a Just Rite… from the set called Heart to Heart…  I embossed that in gold.. and then colored in the sweet little butterflies and leaves… how delicate that stamp set is… love it…

I added this design to a piece of white paper that had been embossed using a cuttlebug folder.. and then mounted it all on another piece of green Bazzill paper…

Okay the embellishments… what a combination I have used here… a flower from Pretties by Bonnie… and a few more eggs… thanks Mary Taylor for getting me to make these adorable little eggs…  and then this cute bunny peeking out from behind a big egg… so very cute… love it…

Anyway… I had fun and hope that you have fun today and every day making cards… playing with paper… enjoying what ever you do… just PLAY and have fun… most important thing to do with play time… ENJOY it all…

Yellow and Green

Yellow and Green… My daughters favorite colors… so I had to make a card using these colors…

I embossed the Brocade Window Cuttlebug folder and used Antique Linen on that … love the look of that… so soft and yummy… then I put a piece of bright yellow paper behind the opening… okay… now to build up the front of the card…  I started down at the bottom with a nice new border from Spellbinders… and then added a piece of rick rack in bright yellow… love that… Then I used a Stamp from Vintage frames by Just Rite… and colored it in using Green and Yellow… what else!!!

I made a bow and then put another one on top of it… needed more depth… so it seemed right to do that… and cut out a little chicken that was hatching from its egg on top of the bow!!!!  How cute is that… the little bunny over on the side is holding three more… so much fun…  I colored all of them with markers… I have quite a collection of mixed markers… and I love them all.. I have some that are over 10 years old… and still are perfectly GREAT…

I added a couple of Pretties by Bonnie Flowers around.. and this time only made two layers of flowers…  and used a bundled sage distress glitter glue for the centers… what a great look that is… I love it…  I hope she does too… but this will not be sent until Easter time…

Thanks for taking time to stop by for a visit… Hope you have a fun day… Love, Light and Peace....Bonnie

Friends are Special

Friends… what a perfect saying to send to a very special friend…
“A friend is someone who knows the SONG in your heart and can SING it back to you when you have forgotten the words…”
Just a perfect saying… stop for a minute and think about it… just PERFECT….

So I have to make a simple card… so that the sentiment stood out… really stood out… and I hope it does…

Have a wonderful day…

Violet Bouquet

Violet Bouquet… I use to love to pick my Mom a bouquet of little tiny violets when I was little… the stems were only a couple of inches long… and she never had the right size vase to put these tiny little beauties in …. But they were so pretty and always looking up at you when you walked by them…

So this card is to bring that memory back into my life… The stamps are by Just Rite… and I colored them with my markers… and then used some Spellbinders to create the medallion for my violets to sit on…

The background paper is cut into triangles… and then I used a Martha Stewart punch along the seam… and I punched it twice… once in green and once in lavender… so that I could cut the flowers off and put them onto the vine… a little liquid pearls by Ranger… and then flower border was completed…

A few pearls in the corner… and a bow… and this memory was completed… a bouquet of violet…

Have a fun day… and make sure you have special vases for special flowers that are in your yard… so that when picked you have the right vase for the pretties around you… love it…
Love, Light and Peace....Bonnie

Sweet Violets

Sweet Violets… I love violets… have you ever had them on a salad… so sweet … and the leaves are great too… very nice flower for the eyes too.. a whole little bouquet of them will add so much to a tea table… or to a special place in your home…

I made this card in remembering tiny little bouquets that my daughter use to pick for me.. so sweet… maybe just five flowers… and then when you put a little doily around them to hold them into a special little vase… and look down upon it… your eyes see this sweet little picture…

I used a piece of the background paper and pleated it… and added some lattice work and a few Purple flowers from Pretties by Bonnie..

the pearls all around the nosegay and the lattice really make this a special card… love the sweetness of it…  Thanks for taking a look today… hope you are enjoying the cards I make…
Love, Light and Peace....Bonnie

Circle of Sweet Peas

The circle of Sweet peas is just so simple and delicate… I stamped them from a Just Rite set… and then cut them out… a very tedious thing… but loved the look after I got them all cut out… and then I put them onto this really cute circle from Spellbinders…  so sweet and delicate… the whole thing… so now what…

Okay… I took an embossing folder by Cuttlebug called Lace Window… and mounted that onto some light lavender paper… and then made the braid using the butterfly stitch for the center of the window…  I put bows on each corner… Love the whole card… very easy to make a pretty card like this with some really simple things… that make everything look very complicated… but the whole card was very very simple to make…

Enjoy making a card NOW… and every one that do make.. no matter how a card turns out… enjoy the process of it… or else add more or something to it that you do enjoy… what fun…   Love, Light and Peace....Bonnie

Lotus in Sage

Lotus in Sage… funny name.. but I have just finished taking pictures of 18 cards… this being the 16th… and then cleaning each one up… and then writing up a page on each one… yikes… so when you get to the bottom of a huge pile of cards… you become a little lame with the names… so please forgive me…  LOL…

But I did have fun making all these cards… but the actual posting and all the other stuff… not my cup of tea… I really have to push myself to do these things so that I can share with you… which does mean a lot to me… I also am on dial up…. So I will have to get up in the middle of the night and then post all these cards… but at least half of the work is done… and ready to be posted… you will see one a day.. .but in reality I have made most of these 18 cards in 2 days time… I make cards and play when I can… schedules in the spring can be rough… but full of life in all ways..

This card has the lotus in the center… that is the name of the spellbinder die cut… and then I used a Martha  Stewart deep cut punch and also the pansy border and corner set…

The Sweet Pea stamp is a Just Rite… and so is the THANKS on the tag…

This cute little tag… a friend went to the Might Dollar store… where the bargains are fantastic… and she bought this Fiskars punch for $1.00… yikes… so great… I love it… and so many of my word stamps fit onto the punch tag…

I have fun creating cards… can you tell???  Love making and sending cards to people I love… hope about you????  Are you sending out some of your cards to loved ones… I am sure that they will appreciate them… Have a fun loving day… and thanks for sharing your love and time by coming to my site… Love, Light and Peace....Bonnie

Mama Bird

Mama bird… She is waiting by her nest for the little ones to arrive… a true sign of spring arriving… I have to say that I haven’t seen any little babies yet.. a little chilly in some ways..  but soon we will see the mama’s flying with worms and feeding the little ones…

On this card, I created the background with some Twinkling H20’s… and then added a bird punch frame… I cut the Just Rite floral circle out by hand… as I wanted this wavy edge for the beaded circle Spellbinder die cut template…

Hope you have a nice day…  Love, Light and Peace....Bonnie

Faberge Egg

This week the Just Rite challenge is to make a card for a Random act of kindness or for Thanks… so I had a few ideas and started to work on them… these are what I came up with… I do have to post them all separately so that I can enter each card.. so please SCROLL DOWN to see the others… thanks…

Okay.. this card took me a few nights of tossing and turning… but I finally got it the way I wanted it…

I love Faberge Eggs..  and so I wanted to create one on this card… and I wanted the egg to be in a stand… and also Open to something ELEGANT too…

What could be more perfect than a Just Rite bouquet of Crocus… (which I cut out and popped onto the oval background)    I adorned the egg with stand with Gem stones… and also the oval around the crocus…  the top and bottom borders (Spellbinders) have pearls to adorn them…

The Heartfelt Tag… Just Rite…

So on this card.. .I used Just rite stamps…
All the shapes were cut out using Spellbinders…and the Cuttlebug embossing folder....
Simple enough … and so much fun to create… I am going to have to create a couple more Egg cards too… as I really did enjoy the process with this…

Hope that you enjoy it too..
Love Light and Peace…

Pink Sweetheart Roses

Sweetheart Roses… Another new stamp from the same set that the daffodil came from… what a pretty set this is…
Anyway… I had to stamp it and emboss it… I wanted this to be very delicate… as the person what will be receiving it is very delicate and sweet…

She loves to get cards and is always putting my cards in special places for others to also enjoy.. so I am not sending this just to one person.. but many!!!  What fun that is…
The TAG... of course another Just Rite set... how cute is this... and there is a tag for every holiday and others in the set...  love this one...  Thanks Just Rite for so many wonderful stamp sets...  I think everyone knows that I love these stamps...  YES!!!!

I used half of the Brocade Window for this card… and I know Myrna is going to love this one… she is waiting for the Brocade Window now… and will love creating this with it… I just know…

I used the stencil section and Worn Lipstick distress ink pad for the background… and then put the medallion of the sweetheart roses up on the top section…  a little Spellbinder border… and then a double scalloped border with some ribbon… a few pearls and this card was done… soft and sweet… and hope that this wonderful sweet person enjoys this card…

Have a nice day… One more card is coming…  so please scroll down… Thanks…

Spring Daffs

Daffodils… a wonderful spring flower… I just received this set… and so wanted to give this to a friend with a bunch of freshly picked Daffodils.. but I settled for some forsythia and this card… she is going thru a rough time and wanted to cheer her up..
So here is the card…
I used the Lovely Daffodil set from Just Rite and then hand cut the daffs out… and then used a spellbinder to cut the oval out… I used my Distress inks (shabby shutters) around the edges of the beaded oval.  And then adorned with some pearls…
The embossed background is called Deco Burst by Cuttlebug ... It is such a fun embossing folder, as you can stencil also with it..
which I did and used Frayed Burlap distress inks by Tim Holtz...
I added some light green pearls in the eyelets...
On the edges of that, I used some Parisian accents by Spellbinder... and used a Bazzill paper..  down at the bottom... a Martha Stewart punch of leaves... just done in white with some accents on it using my new Memento Markers that I WON in a Just Rite Challenge... love them... they are so very nice to use...  lovely colors too... you will be seeing a lot of these on my work...
I also colored the daffs with them... two of the yellows and two of the greens...

The sentiment...  again a Just Rite... that I stamped in the center of a Spellbinder cutie... love these little types of dies that just sort of fit into all kinds of places that we need them too..  You really can't ask for more....

I had an entirely different layout planned.. but it didn't work out... so this is what I came up with...  I really did have fun making this card... and hope that your weather is STARTING to act like spring...   It is beautiful here... doors open and fresh air in the house... love it... so very wonderful....
Have a wonderful day... and play hardy...

Chicken on the Top!!!

I needed to make a lot of cards… so I also needed to make some really simple, but cute… A Happy Spring card and also Easter Special card… so this is something that I had tried a few times… and loved it.. and tried it again… I used a Spellbinder for the shape of the card… and then cut one smaller for the background… and then a little 2x2 cuttlebug piece… which I used ink on the edges…

I colored the bunny and also the chick… and popped them onto the card… simple…. Really simple and cute, don’t you think so.. ???

Anyway… it was a fun card… even though I love to cut out things.. this little chicks legs were something else to cut out!!! But I got them done…
Thanks for stopping by…

Swinging by to see YOU...

Swinging by to visit you… what a cute stamp this one is… the look on this bunnies face is so cute…I started off making this card with one of those pieces of favorite paper that never seem to get used… and then I had the problem of where to cut it… but I did it… and I love the way the background turned out..

Do you have these problems???  I know a lot of us do… but I am trying to get over this… that is why I buy the paper… to use it… isn’t it??? LOL…

Okay.. .then I used a Cuttlebug folder and used Olive Archival Ink by Ranger on the edges of the paper… using a Tim Holtz blender pad… so great…

I used a Label 10 Spellbinder to cut the shape to put the egg onto…  and I trimmed it using a gold metallic pen… and then adorned it with some pearls…

Now the bunny I stamped and then used the Egg Spellbinder to cut it out…  and I softly used the Olive Archival ink by Ranger on the edges again…

The stamp set had these really cute leaffie branches… so I stamped, colored and cut them out… and put a few of them around the top of the swing…  with some flowers which are by Pretties by Bonnie…

The Heart… oh you know that is a Just Rite… adorable set of stamps… and they will soon have the die cuts in my hands too… I have them on order… and they are going to make this so easy to create…  Charms… what fun is that…???

I used a piece of ribbon with a bow on one end to make the charm hanging from the branches… along with this cute bunny…

I love this card… delicate, funny, pretty, charming… LOL… and adorable… love that silly bunny…

Thanks for stopping by for a visit… and see you tomorrow…  Love, Light and Peace....Bonnie

Sunshine in my Day!!!

Sunshine in my day… The Just Rite saying is Thank You for being my Sunshine every Day… how very true when you think of your daughter… sometimes maybe not… but 99% of the time yes…

When I saw this stamp it reminded me of the days when our daughter was so little and would cuddle up next to me… and we would look at clouds or a rainbow or something special… such sweet moments that turn so very quickly into memories… of a long time ago… So here is my memory in a card…

The Just Rite stamp has a moon that they are looking at… but I have a circle of flowers… and also the background of Butterflies (which was create with a Spellbinders embossing sheet…)  and then the Butterflies punch set by Martha… it is really a very simple card… with the exception of me having to cut out the stamp of the mom and daughter… I just had to do that… and it was time consuming… but hey… if you don’t know it by now.. .I love to cut things out… very therapeutic for me… I am just a cut up at heart… LOL..

Have a Sunshine of a day… all day long…

Study in Teal

Study in Teal is a sympathy card… I don’t’ like having to make these … but every so often we need to use one… and this one hopefully will not be used for a LONG time… but it is ready when I need to ….

I had this really pretty teal swirl paper… and then added a lime green floral paper that I punched the edges on for the background… Then a Blue Hill punch was used on white paper and then a lime scalloped oval…

Now the Just Rite stamp… which says… “Nothing is harder than saying goodbye to someone you LOVE”  is so lovely… and I painted it with my twinkling h20’s… and it adds such a nice soft flair to the card… I didn’t want it to be just the white…  the little border around the edge is also Just Rite… these Just Rite stamps are Just Rite for so many of my needs… I love them…

The flower… four layers of Pretties by Bonnie Flower… 2 inch, 1.5 inch, 1.25 inch and 1 inch flowers were used to make this one flower… each one hand painted and then cut out and molded to create this pretty… a gem was used in the center of this one…

You are a gem to stop by here for a visit… thanks ever so much.. hope you enjoy your day… and created something special for someone in your life…

Bloom where you are planted

Bloom where you are planted… a really very real saying that so many of us should follow all the time… and not worry about the other side of the fence… what others are thinking or doing… but we always tend to do so… so this saying to me is a very strong, and true statement… and I love it…

Bloom where you are Planted

So I had to create a fun type of thing with it…

I used for the frame, a Martha Stewart punch… which is so very sweet… I love this punch… and the border section of the punch set broke… and I called Martha Stewart and they replaced it… so now I have the entire set again… and I love love love it…  I used a soft sage Bazzill paper to create the frame…
close up of the bunny and medallion

Then using the Cuttlebug Embossing and cutting folder called Carly, I  made the next layer… but I added a little fence in there…  and also a  few other things… LOL.. I certainly know how to do that, don’t I?   I put a piece of tri dotted paper behind the oval… and then also a nice little medallion that I will tell you all about in a few seconds…

I colored the one stem… and put a Pretties by Bonnie flower on the stem… The flower was created with three flowers… a 2 inch, 1.5 and 1.25 inch flowers… each one was colored… and then molded and then glued together to create this bloom…

Okay… the medallion…  I used one of the new pieces from a Spellbinder set… and then added a sentiment from Just Rite… and then a frame from Just Rite… which had been cut out using a spellbinder…  I colored this layer with markers and also some Bundled sage ink by Ranger…

The RABBIT…. Well this past week-end I went to my group meeting… down at Scrapbook Creations… what fun we are going to have there… meeting in a STORE… yikes… that could be expensive… but I tried to be good… which I sort of was… but you see each time I walked out to my car… I saw these adorable little bunnies starring at me… and so I had to buy them…  They are stamps made from Photo polymer… of something like that… and they stink very very bad… I have to keep them in an air tight box… other wise my head throbs and my mouth gets dry… but I think they are so very cute… this is one of them… a little rabbit with three chicks… you will see more as I go on here…    I used marker to color the rabbit… and even though most people think of the BUNNY as being white.. I wanted him to be natural.. so I colored him naturally…  browns and tans… I love him…

Hope that you do too… and that you are having a wonderful day… totally enjoying the spring… go outside and sink your feet into a pile of soil…. It feels so very good… it is called grounding and will help to balance your body… so nice… 5 minutes everyday will help you to stay more balanced and feel good… TRY IT… you might like it…  or walk around for a while on the grass…. Or anything… grounding with the earth is so very important and we don’t do it…

Thanks for stopping by… and have fun..

Bunny Eggs

Well… this card is because a good friend, Mary Taylor, made a whole pile of stamped Easter Eggs this past week-end… and I just loved the adorable card she made with them… so I decided to make one too..

I had just made a few of these little frames using the Embossing folder by Cuttlebug called Chic Circle… and decided to use one here… I colored the edges with Olive ink by Archival Ink  made by Ranger.. love these colors… bright and clear…  Then I stamped about 40 eggs… using all different colors of inks… the stamps are some of those little $1.00 ones you find all around… and these were just perfect… they are about 1 inch tall…with all different designs on them…

I used a SOME BUNNY LOVES  You stamp???? Which I don’t know where I got that… believe me .. .I don’t.. .but I love it… and then I cut them out using the Spellbinder shape…  The flower is by Pretties by Bonnie and the bunny one of the stamps from the smelly stamps that I love..

I had fun making this one… easy and cute… but it did take a long time to cut out all the eggs… but thanks Mary for the idea… love it…

I also used an inch wide ribbon to make a small one inch bow… it made it look really puffy and full…

Thanks for taking time to stop by for a visit… I  really appreciate your visits..

Lavender Special

Lavender Special … I was trying to clean up my work area and this card just sort of happened… not kidding… it happened… just before my eyes…

I have all kinds of paper laces and little things in my work space and at times it drives me crazier than I am… LOL… so I wanted to organize them all… and then this was on top of that… and this paper needed to be used… and this flower which has 4 layers I had just made… and it too needed to be used… so it was all there… and it all went onto this one card… so now I didn’t have to pick it up and organize it somewhere… it is organized on the card…

The little bunny has flocking on his tail.. so it is a fuzzy little bunny… love it… love to add these fun things… Paper laces, all made with using Spellbinders…
The large flower is a Pretties by Bonnie… and colored with Twinkling H20’s.. love it…

Hope you have a day that goes along like this card… enjoy it… Love, Light and Peace....Bonnie

Layer upon Layer

Layer upon layer is a card that was created while in that nice sleep state of being half asleep, half awake… and trying to go back to sleep… anyway.. I wanted an oval with lots of flourish around it.. and ONE simply elegant flower… so here it is…

I also used a Martha deep cut punch and created the border from using it… I love this punch… and now the border too…

The oval was created with Spellbinder die cuts… the Flower.. is a Pretties by Bonnie flower… and has three layers… layer upon layer this card was built for  simple elegance…

Hope you have a nice day… and thanks a million for stopping by for a visit… love having you stop by…

Garden of Dogwoods

Garden of Dogwoods… When we first moved south we stayed in a campground in Pinehurst NC… which is down near our daughter… when we would go into the campground we had to drive through a wooded area… and in the month of March the dogwoods started to bloom… and you would see one blooming when there was nothing else around it… it was so very pretty… always was magical to me…

I love dogwoods… they are so very pretty when they are in bloom.. we have quite a few in our yard… and one is a VERY deep pink… love the color of it… very very deep… not pale like these are… but if I colored the dogwood blossoms the color of ours… it would look fake… so better to stick with what people are use to… LOL… don’t want to rattle anyones cage…

This background paper is a special piece to me… so I didn’t add a lot of other things to the card… just a few butterflies flying around… and a few bows… very simple but pretty… the oval frame is a stamp by Just Rite… and the flowers… Pretties by Bonnie… The lattice pendant by Spellbinders…

Hope you have a special day… and totally enjoy yourself… Love, Light and Peace....Bonnie

BIRDS

BIRDS… when you make a card some you really like… and others you love… this is one of those cards that I LOVE…. I guess because I had so very much fun making the background papers… and also putting it together…

The background papers.. I told you about these a few days ago… I used my twinkling H20’s and painted paper… and then I used a cherry blossom stamp by Bee hive with white embossing powder to create the effect… love it… and then I used another piece and cut each one to create the background… and joined them with a line of birds on the line… LOL.. how precious are they sitting there…

The stamps on the round medallion.. they are by Just Rite… and I have layered them… love the effect of this card… the little bird with her super special Spring eggs… waiting for the babies to hatch, so that her days will be spent taking care of them… are surrounded by little pink flowers…

Just Spring talking…
Hope spring is talking by YOU… enjoy it all.. .smell the fresh air and enjoy it…
Thanks for taking your time to stop by for a visit…

Earth Laughs in Flowers

Earth Laughs in flowers with a bunny too… So much fun… I didn’t put leaves on this card, as sometimes the little tiny flowers bloom without any green around them… and these little ones did just that… that cute little bunny is stopping in to see you and say HI… what a cute little face on this bunny…

The frame is a Just Rite stamp…. Have you been to their site and seen all the new stamps… yikes… I love them all… and please also go to their blog and join in all the fun there too… you will thank yourself over and over… there are so many wonderful ideas and fun there…

This card might be very simple… and it is only 5 inches square… but it is packed with tons of love… have a nice day… enjoy calling someone that you haven’t talked to in a long time… Love, Light and Peace....Bonnie
