A New Flower!!!

I had a lot of fun with this card…  I love using this Label four for a card shape… a lot of fun and also a different shape… as is required for the JUST RITE  Challenge this time…

Butterfly Garden Set by Just Rite

So I layered the label four three times…  got that… three layers of the label four… and then I used distress inks on the edges… using a blending tool and foam by Tim Holtz’s Ranger line of goodies…

I used the Distress stains on the seam binding… to create the same colors as my newest flower… which is made from fabric…  the white that you see peeking around the edges of the petals is the wire that is the base of each pedal… so much fun to make… I use to make these kinds of flowers over 30 years ago.. LOL.. .thought I was still 29… where ever did all the time go???    It must have flown away…  Oh well… such is life…

Now for the Just Rite… I stamped the Butterfly Garden design three times… as the butterfly is layered with two butterflies… I colored one and cut up the other two…

Then I mounted the circle onto a circle Spellbinder die that has that lovely ‘lacey look’ to frame out the butterfly Garden…..

What a fun card… I made the little ‘corsage pins’ by taking some sewing pins… and added some small seed beads to the stem… and then glued them in place…
Finished…. And I love it.. .

New Flower for me...

A new Flower for a Beautiful Butterfly Garden…
Thanks for taking a look today.. and hope to see you tomorrow too…  there should be some more challenges I can find that I can download???  Do you think…

Have a fun day… Love, Light and Peace....Bonnie

Bon Jour my Friends...

Today I got a little carried away with the theme for Just Rite... oh well... since I have a huge class up coming this coming Saturday... it will be well enjoyed and used as samples...  The theme for Just Rite... Shabby Chic... what a fun theme... I just so happen to be in love with this type of thing... so it was a total lift off for me... and that is why I got so carried away...

I had lots more to share... but hey.. how much can you look at and still enjoy... ???

So with out any more ado... here are some of the creations from My Just Rite Collection of Stamps...  I do love them all.. and I do use them a lot of the time...

All Things Sweet
All Things sweet...  This is really a favorite of mine... I love this stamps set...
Shabby Chic Label Four... they are so fantastic that they make my mind spin with ideas to create with... and so I have...  and love each one a little more... I have about 10 more with this same theme...

I used a blue tag in the background..  I normally will not put blues and pinks together... but this just seemed to go perfectly to me...  I made the paint for the tag.. and spritzed it on... a la Tim Holtz...

check out the ruffle made with tissue tape!!!
The ruffle on the dress is Tissue tape by Tim.. and the mannaquin die cut... is also Tims... love these too... oh I love it all... there I have said it... I do too...

The dress is made from a piece of scrap in a package that was a printed vellum... so lovely... couldn't throw it away... had to use it.. that is for sure...

I used the Distress stains on a lot of this tag too... to accent areas
Old buttons with old thread still in them... even some cloth too.
 also just color...

The flowers are Just Rite... and I am sorry that I can not remember the names of all the sets... I use the flowers so very much of the time... as my love of flowers is GREAT.... this one I also painted and did twice.. and popped it up a little...  a few buttons... and WOW... look at that cute perfume adamizer!!!   Do you remember them...  I use to have quite a few of them... but as things changed... I got rid of them... wish I had them now!!!  You would put your favorite perfume in there... and then spritz it all over you and your room... what a sweet smelling thing it was .... love the frillies...

Bloom where you are planted...  and love it.
Bloom Where You are Planted!!!  I love my Just Rite Stamps... and can create all kinds of pretty things with them... so I created this card... not with a Stamp from the New Shabby Chic Label Four set... but with a few others... in fact sometimes I try to see how many sets I can use on One card... I have gotten up to 5 ... trying for more... with out getting really over done!!!
But hey.. I love layers... and love lots of them too...

So this card with a pocket gave me the opportunity to add even more...  I created the background with a piece of cardstock that I embossed... and then inked with my Distress stains... have you tried any yet... they are delightful... you will need them all... believe me!!!

Just like you need all the Just Rite stamps!!!  I love them all.. hardest part of having a lot... is not knowing which to use !!!  but that is okay.. .I will suffer... LOL... and I do share!!!

So I did...  a tag to add to the pocket... and that also I made the paper... and then added punched butterflies (by Martha's punches) and then a stamped Just Rite flower... and then a cute frame...  that I cute out and added some pearls too..

a Paper flower I made with Tattered Floral Die Cut by Tim Holtz
 Okay... a close up....
Zoom in a little bit more... and look at the soft flower...  they are gauzie flowers by Ranger... a lot in a package... and also some seam binding and a cute ruffle...
Although I love to make my own ruffles too...

These flowers are white... and the best part is that you dye them the color you want... with your inks ... Distress stains, re-inkers, markers.. what ever your heart's desire... what a fun thing... huh???  Love them!!!  Put on my list to buy some more...

AS you can see... I made a couple of flowers from card stock that I painted and molded to make my two large flowers...  I love making these flowers... and this will also be taught again this Saturday... but we will me making a smaller one...  hope that you local gals will join in on the fun...

3 Just Rite stamps on this tag...
Here are some more tags and bits and pieces of things I have been playing with... some that are not quite finished will be put onto tag, cards, scrapbook pages or other things...

This tag I made the paper, and also love the way that the colors blend with some of my new archival ink pads... those colors are yummy... I also added a few golden drops from my twinkling H20's... I do paint a lot of my flowers with them... as they always add a nice sparkle to my flowers...

I happen to like to cut out things too.. if you couldn't guess...

Teal fun!!!

Just a piece of something... not sure where it will land yet... but the colors are so neat... I used some of that new stuff called Goosebumps... you can see it if you look closely on the left side of the oval...

I guess you know by now that I also LOVE my spellbinders...

The beginning of something pretty... ???
Not really sure yet where this will go!!!

I keep on waiting for signs of fall... as we get rain in the fall.. and are in desperate need of it...

So this tag is to bring on the RAIN.....

Not sure where this will go.. it is only 3X 5 inches... and so cute... The paper on the background I made ... and then punched out a border for the frame...

a little seam binding ribbon to go with it...
Of course I am totally addicted to making, owning and using this ribbon on everything now..

 The French Connection!!!
A little of this and that and it created a full fledged tag... with all the French things I love...

I made the butterfly using my new die cut from Cherry Lynn Designs... and they are quite nice... you have to go over them a few times.. but I was using a thick a vellum and also a card stock... I stacked them for a flight look...

The Flowers are made with some paper that I painted and so is the background sheet and the tag... I  love painting my own papers to use for my projects... now ... what ever am I going to do with all this other paper...  ???? I am scratching my head...  think... think... think... can you smell smoke yet???

I had to make a ruffle too..

Along with a few flowers... and also some seam binding ribbon for the little bows.. these bows are so small that my bow maker wouldn't make them... so I had to tie them myself...

The French Connection...

Pinks Galore... I had to use as many pinks as I could.. I just had to... do you ever get into the mood to use a specific color and that is it... well when I made this... that is what I had to use.. .
PINKS GALORE.... Okay... so I cheated and used some greens... but I love that combo.. don't you???

I love the color called Victorian Velvet in the Tim Holtz Distress line... I guess I would have to say that it is my very favorite of all colors... Love to make ribbons with it... and add a little of this and that to give it some other flavors... love it... love it all..

I put pearls all the way around the heart opening...  just for that feminine touch...

The tag it's self it is embossed.. what else... a little more depth...

And a Martha Punch set!!!

The paper... in the background.. made with Just Rites... and then main focal point... Shabby Chic labels FOUR...

That little bow that you will see on a lot of my things... it is from one of the Just Rite Christmas sets...  Oh how perfect it is it for this Shabby Chic look too... buttons and bows, layers of paper... lace of all kinds, feminine touches... perfume bottles... and flowers... flowers all over the place...

After making about 50 sheets of different colored papers... it was hard to choose which ones I was going to use first...  but when I started to put things together... it was a snap... when you have so many pretty things to use and play with... every thing is very simple and FUN...

Like this little thing... don't know where it will end up... but it is cute and pretty...
I don't use a lot of blues... but this is so very pretty... and the teals and blues and bright greens just sort of went together... love the Just Rite frames...  and when I use them... I cut them out in a lot of different shapes...  so much fun...

Just a label... but so very pretty... the navy multi colored ribbon really did my hands in for the day... so I thought I had better blog this all.. .and then wash up good and make dinner.!!!!

I have one more tag... this I released the day prior to the Just Rite challenge... but I wanted to share it with you...  I love this one too...is that a surprise????

LOL...

This was the first time I had used this wonderful Stamp set... I had just received it... and had to use it... dont' like to have unused things in the studio...  so ... I stamped it up and started to go to town...

I also stamped up Tims Sewing room die cut... and then added some Victorian Velvet flowers on the bottom...

I love the way that this cute little musical label comes out... no matter what color you choose... it is perfect...

I used some grunge letters for the PARIS ... as this was for a challenge on travel...

But my favorite part... the CHARMS.... I used the stamps to create a few French charms for the bottom of the tag... ..what fun that is...

Love making all these goodies... and loved playing like I have too...

One more day with inky fingers... a tired body and a spinning mind... hope you have had a wonderful day... and a fun filled one at that...
I love sharing with you... and hope that you enjoyed this day down Shabby Chic Lane...

Thanks for stopping by for a visit my friend... and hope that you return soon... Love, Light and Peace....Bonnie

Paris .. .Here we come!!!!

Oh what fun to go to Paris!!!  But I guess I will not go in this life time... as I don't fly...  LOL... no I am not scared of the actual flying... I am scared of the air in the plane!!!!  Seriously... and swimming is out... a little too long... and so I guess I will see Paris this way!!!
Paris here we come!!!

This tag is made with three of my favorite companies... Ranger, Just Rite and Spellbinder...  yikes... love it... and it is for a wonderful blog...  and challenge called Simon Says Stamp and show!!!  They are always having the best challenges.. and this was a challenge for me, as I don't travel, except on the paper... so I went to Paris for the afternoon and had a blast...

Went to see some fashions being designed... Perfume created in the rarest of ways... and then flowers being made from delicate chiffons... and bows and ribbon being dyed... and then Charms being created... yikes what a blast... all in a few hours... (actually minutes)  but you get the idea...

Fashion Capital of the world!!!

I used from Ranger the Sewing room die... and dressed the mannequin in a Tim Holtz stamp... and then some flowers... which look darker than they really are... I used the antique linen stain... and then added a touch of Pumice stone stain... and then on the very top some Victorian Velvet!!!  Three wonderful colors.. and I love these stains... so easy to apply and use... used them on the mannequin too...  antique linen and frayed burlap!!!

Paris...

Okay... then with the tag it's self... created that with a lifting of inks off my work sheet... and then ran thru the brocade embossing folder... and then used my distress pad of Victorian Velvet for the raised parts of the embossing... and a little pumice stone around the edges...

The adorable tag on the top... with the bow... that is from Just Rites newest set called Shabby Chic Label four... and what a charming set it is... I will make a few more things this week using that same set...

The bow on the it is from one of the Christmas sets... I am so bad... I have to have them all...  love them all... and the little perfume bottle... is that ever cute!!!  That is also from the Shabby Chic set...  I used glossy accents from Ranger over it... so it looks like glass...

More Charms... what a CHARM ! ! !

Okay that charms... love making them... I used the Shabby chic stamps and colored them... then used some fractals from Tim Holtz's Ideology line and created the tags... what a fun way to add dimension to your tag...  I am also entering this into the Grungy Monday challenge that will give you all the directions on how to make these great Tim Holtz charms... so easy and FUN!!! Linda over at Grungy Monday has the fun challenges... and this week she has added something new... PRIZES... love it Linda... that is super great... hope I can win some of these great Tim things... I love them.. that is for sure...

The corner is a gold charm... had to have that on here... just finished off the tag... oh I guess maybe my dyed seam binding ribbon finishes off the tag too... but you get the idea...  I had fun with this ... so thanks to all the companies that I used their product to create this tag... and also to Simon Says Stamp and show...  Love it...

Thanks for taking a look today... and hope you will come back soon... please check out the necklaces below... as I made all the charms... what a fun challenge that was too...

Have a wonderful day..  and enjoy creating something fun...

Charmed, I am sure!!!

Okay… I had a blast with these necklaces… I am in the middle of making Christmas presents, samples for classes and just having fun… so these fit in somewhere… not really sure where.. .but who is looking???
Front of Fractal necklace... with gem stones on either side

Back side of charms with Tissue Tape and glossy accent

I am going to enter this into the Grungy Monday challenge, as Linda is the one that started this whole thing!!!! Thanks Linda… I love playing with them.. and it is my first time using them.. what a fun thing… I have tried three of the methods that Tim Holtz showed in his tutorial… (for more info on this.. check out Grungy Monday and you will find all the details... )  and will do a collage one most likely tomorrow… since my work space is cluttered with all these goodies… what fun… I love it…I also made all the little dangles in between all the charms... I had a lot of fun...  got some Sterling wire and wrapped a few crystals and some sterling charms.. and mixed them in with the Ideology Charms.  ... I love the look...

Center charm on the necklace

I didn’t know what to do with the back of each charm.. .so I covered it with tissue tape and then a little bit of glossy accent on my finger rubbed over it, sealed it onto the charm… I even used some fractals … really GREAT… love them.......

Okay at this point I am totally addicted... and started on this one..
The whole necklace!

The chain is sterling, as I had some extra chain in my jewelry making stuff… and the 0 rings  on the charms are not sterling!!!  I needed some really large ones to go thru these charms…  so I made some 0 rings with a pencil and wire… a really easy process…

See thru charm made with Tape and picture

Hope you will try playing with these … they are fun and easy quick results…  love all the methods…

These charms are truly charmed and so easy to create..  what fun they are to make and wear... I can hardly wait to wear this...

Used alcohol ink on charm.. then place the picture.

Thanks for stopping by Today… and hope that you have a perfectly delightful day playing and creating what ever it is you are doing…

It's Raining ??? Not really

It’s Raining… what a wonderful thing it would be if it truly was raining… we need it really desperately…. We are officially in a drought…  only having had 1.2 inches of rain in the month of July… for a farm that is horrible… anyway.. I will stop my ‘waffling’ and move on with my tag….

Wish it was raining!!!

This tag is for a couple of challenges… the first one being Grungy Monday… the challenge was to use Distress Stickles… by Tim Holtz…. Oh yes… not a problem at all… I used them in the center of the Ornate plates… where I put a tiny flower and leaves that I made from some metal… and then filled in with the Distress Stickles… how pretty is that… ??? Love the look in real life… things seem to get lost on line… and also in a picture…

Oh well… so the other Challenge is for Simon Says Stamp andShow… and to use Glitter glitz… so I made the rain drops from rhinestones…  and it is glittery…

The Tag is also a Ranger kraft brown tag… and it is so different to work on it…  I distressed the edges… and colored with my Tim Holtz Distress stains… which I happen to LOVE…. Maybe even more than LOVE… is there such a thing…

I embossed the umbrella man and also the old timey car… and ran distress ink pads over them… and then spritzed the umbrella man with a mini mister that had some perfect pearls and distress ink it in… wow… I stamped words all around them… and then tore the edges and used the misc pieces all around the tag…  Of course my seam binding ribbon was made when I cleaned up the mess on my table from spritzing the mini mister… what a perfect pair that is… a clean up cloth and ribbon all in one item… LOL…  GREAT GOING….

So that is my tag… didnt know what I was going to do… and it is one of my favorite tags so far… okay… each time I make something it is my favorite for a while… are you like that??? I guess we all are???

Well have a great day… enjoy the day to the fullest… and have fun… thanks for stopping by for a visit… see you soon hopefully…

The Red Queen speaks again

Oh my goodness...  The Red QUEEN has spoken and is angry again... but that is okay.. as the roses are getting painted... and they look pretty real .... well sorta a good????

I started off with one challenge and have turned this one tag into three challenges...  The first one being Altered Alice... yeah... the challenge was to use the theme of painting of the roses.. and also Twinkling H2o's... neither one a problem for me.

I used the Tim Holtz clock embossing folder for the background... and then a picture from a childs book of Alice in Wonderland... and colored it... and then the QUEEN... oh my what a temper she has today... Off with their heads is all she keeps on saying... LOL.. anyway...

the letters QUEEN are painted with H20's... and then a white glossy dot added on the sides of the letter...  I used my alcohol inks on my paint brush, as it was yellow... and I didn't want a yellow brush...

I also did this tag for Simon Says Stamp and Show... and we had to use glitz today... so I put gems on the Queens crown...  RUBIES for the RED QUEEN... she loves it...

The other Challenge was for Grungy Monday... Congrats on #20 challenge... love these themes that you all come up with... today on Grungy Monday we had to use Tim Holtz Distress Stickles... so I used it on the Cards... on their hats and shirts... and also colored the leaves with four Green colors... to give a texture and also shading effects...

I love this tag... it is a larger one... 3X6... and  I think it will look great on a package...

My Bottom Ruffle... RED of course... what else... and it is made from Tissue paper... and then tied off with some red seam binding...perfect for the bottom of this tag... and little H20 painted heart... and I was done...

Hope you enjoy this... have you read Alice recently??? She is really in all of us... I am going to read the complete story tonight again... feel the need... need to reconnect with the inner little girl too..

Have a fun day... and I hope you have had an enjoyable one too...
Love having you stop by for a visit... thanks so very much...

Getting in the Mood for .....

Christmas ....

Oh wow… not hard to do with all the pretty NEW Just Rite stamps that have been released… and I could really use those adorable ones that are the Grand Prize for the Challenge … wow… what a wonderful prize… LOVE Just Rite… so wow… keeping my fingers crossed…

So my FIRST entry is this hanging ornament… I love to make these kinds of ornaments…  so pretty on the tree…

And this was fun… I used  the    Merry and Bright  Set for the ornament… and then popped each layer… so very much fun and the effect makes it really look like a ‘Christmas bulb’ in the center…
the other side of the center ornament

Using the Spellbinder die, I cut the largest one out… and then very carefully cut out around the outer edges of that… and created the ‘frame’ for the inner ornament…  a few seam binding bows…  and then I made some seam binding flowers… how cute are they…

I used Dimensional pearls on the flowers for the centers for even more depth and texture…  and some pearls around the Spellbinder frame…

close up of one side

close up of the other side

The ivory paper is matched with the ivory seam binding… so elegant in real life…

I hope you enjoy this… and make a few for your tree…  they are so very pretty…

Have a super nice day… enjoy every minute of it… and I hope to see you a little more regularly …. Keep posted…

Thanks for stopping by and come back soon…

The Queen of Red Hearts

Today I am suppose to be getting ready for another box and flower class tomorrow… too many people wanted to take it last week… so I said I would do the class again this Saturday for those that didn’t fit into the first class… so I really am pretty much ready.. .but still …. Have a lot of things to do yet…

BUT… this Altered Alice Challenge …. Oh My goodness… I took a look this morning… as I was waiting for something .. and that shook my whole day around… oh so be it… had to do the challenge… it was a challenge of RED… because the Queen of Red Hearts found white roses in her garden… and told the guards to paint them RED… so that is what was done… of course no one wanted their head to roll… the queens favorite saying…

So here you can see Alice watching the guards paint the roses…   Who seem to be having a hard time of it anyway…

The other part of the challenge was to use some paints that glitter…. Well I have the original Twinkling H20’s… and so I used them on everything…  even the ribbon… I clean up my work space with the white seam binding… and it becomes the color I used on my project… LOL… so it might look a little pink… but it is really Garnet…  I used the heart of hearts cuttlebug heart embossing folder and created the background…. And then painted it and created a high gloss on it by using UTEE…. And then I colored Alice, and the guards and the letters all with Garnet…  I torn pages out of a book and painted them red, to create the red rose which I made of course... and also part of what I am teaching tomorrow.… and as you can see there are still some white spots… that is why this rose was picked… as they didn’t get red into all the nooks and crannies…

Starting at  the bottom of the tag… read upwards… RED  QUEEN  of HEARTS… all in Garnet Twinkling H20’s…. love it… the crown was painted with Radient Rain which was also a Twinkling H20 product…

I love these paints… my favorite of all paints…  use them everyday of the week… I even used them around the edge of the distressed tag… which by the way is a tag card… it opens… and I am going to send it to a friend… who also loves the red queen…

I really had fun making this and now I have to hustle and get ready for my class tomorrow… I know it will be fun and that the gals in the class will enjoy it… and that is the most important part of it all…

Hope you have a fun day… and enjoy painting something one color when it should have been another color… LOL…  life if fun… enjoy it…

Love, Light and Peace....Bonnie
